Celebrities Reveal Their Insecurities about their body

Even gorgeous talented Hollywood celebrities have insecurities about their body.

Just ask Heroes star Hayden Panettiere. The actress says:

“The older I get the more comfortable I get with it, but I still have my days where I don’t feel great, and I don’t like this outfit or that outfit and I’m having my fat day where I have to put something baggy on and sweatpants or just with the way that people perceive me, I have plenty of insecurities I can go on and on.”
I’ve never been one of those people who’s been obsessed with working out or being super skinny because I’m just not. I’m not that. I have the body that I have and that’s not going to change as long as I try to stay as healthy as I can, and all that stuff.”

Even the most beautiful celebs can have the biggest hang-ups

According to a Glamour interview, Jennifer Lopez has revealed she is really insecure about herself sometimes as her new friend Victoria Beckham who feels the same way too. You wouldn’t think that they are not having that kind of problems due their confident appearance, but before they are celebrities the two are women, and it’s natural to have some moments of weakness from time to time.

Anyway the thing is that Jennifer Lopez and Victoria Beckham found something in common and now they are great friends, Jennifer thought it to be important that all of her and Victoria’s fans see that celebrities have their issues, too.

Sienna Miller has banned herself from eating her favorite treat — chocolate cake. The British actress, 27, says getting older in Hollywood is a scary prospect and she has already started to get wobbly bits. The actress says:

“I do stop myself from eating chocolate cake, and I make a joke that I should just stick it on my bum because that’s where it’s going. But I will then eat the chocolate cake and then … I have definite insecurities about my body. I’m small but I’m not firm anymore.”

Taylor Swift
has insecurities about her body too. The 20-year-old starlet feels she has to improve her body shape as there are a lot of imperfections to her mind and it makes her feel insecure.
“I definitely have body issues, but everybody does. When you come to the realisation that everybody does that – even the people that I consider flawless – then you can start to live with the way you are. I’ve read interviews with some of the most beautiful women who have insecurities. And you look at them and you’re like ‘How do you have?’ Name one thing wrong with yourself and they could name a handful.”

The successful actress and singer is to ‘maintain confidence’ about the way she looks no matter how curvy and imperfect everybody consider her.

Cheryl Cole has a confession — she doesn’t like her legs. The Girls Aloud singer-turned X Factor says she’s not 100% happy with the way she looks.

“I don’t like my legs,” Cole tells the Daily Record newspaper. “I haven’t got much of them for a start. If somebody sees a bit of cellulite on my legs in a magazine and it makes them feel comfortable then I’m happy that I’ve made that one person at home go ‘Cheryl’s got cellulite, it’s fine’. I do it myself. I flick through magazines and see Kate Moss has got cellulite and it makes me feel happier about myself. You can’t help it.”
However, the 25-year-old insists she won’t be going under the surgeon’s knife. “We’re all individuals and the quirky things make a character,” she said. “People go on about the bump in my nose, but I don’t mind it. If a surgeon messes your face up you’re screwed.”

Megan Fox is complaining about her looks again! The starlet - who’s known more for her beauty than her talent - has revealed that she can’t stand to look at herself on-screen or in pictures.
I never (look at myself),” says Megan, “even in still photographs. I don’t look at anything. I panic if there is a monitor in the room I immediately go into like an anxiety attack. I’m insecure, I think most actors are pretty insecure.”

Although her sexy image has landed her a job as Calvin Klein's underwear model, Megan Fox is still insecure about her body. In a new interview with W magazine, the "Transformers" babe said, "My main weakness is nerves. I have no confidence, and because of that I'm always second-guessing myself."

Angelina Jolie is insecure about her breasts and “saggy” stomach. The “Changeling” actress, who raises six children with partner Brad Pitt, is said to be struggling to come to terms with her post-baby body following the July 2008 birth of twins Knox and Viv – despite partner Brad Pitt's insistence that she “looks more beautiful than ever.”

"The biggest issues for her are her breasts - which she says are smaller and not as firm as they were before she breast-fed three children - and her stomach, which she's described as 'saggy'. She's frustrated because no matter how much exercise she does, there's still some skin and wrinkles."

The problem is that, although Brad loves her, it’s Angelina herself who needs to learn to love her own new body, just like millions of other moms around the world.”

Sandra Bullock might be one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, but friends say she’s painfully insecure about the way she looks. The Blind Side actress apparently hates being seen alongside svelte stars at red carpet events — so decided to get her body into shape with the help of a personal trainer and hundreds of hours of pilates.

“She’s a bit better now that she’s in such good shape, but if she sees Julia Roberts, Halle Berry or Charlize Theron anywhere near her at an event, she freaks out inside."
The actress feels there is nothing sexier than a woman with a slight tummy, so she uses it as an excuse to skip the gym.
“I go, ‘Oh my God, I’ve got to lose weight so I can fit into this.’ But I also go, ‘I haven’t been to the gym in a year. Do I want to go to the gym? No’,” she said. “At some point I will start running again and I will get there. There’s something sexy about a gut. Not a 400-pound beer gut, but a little paunch. I love that.”

Jessica Simpson has struggled with body image issues her entire life. In September’s Glamour, the singer/actress reveals how she’s plagued by insecurity.

“When I was young, I would look at magazines and feel a lot of pressure,” said Simpson. “As a child of 12, I would write things in my journal like, ‘I’m lying here and all I can think about is that my stomach is hanging over my underwear.’ That disturbs me even today!

“I was always disconnected from myself; there was this idea of perfection I couldn’t ever get to. But all women struggle with insecurity, and we all have something we don’t like about ourselves."

"No matter how much money you spend to make yourself beautiful — with all the products, the diets, the plastic surgery — in the end, women need to fall in love with themselves and realize they’re beautifully and wonderfully made. There is no ‘perfect’ you.”

Mariah Carey felt ugly growing up because she was mixed race. The Obsessed singer — whose mother is Irish-American and her father was an African-American of Venezuelan descent — claims she never fitted in at school because of her heritage, leaving her very insecure about the way she looks.

“I am very insecure about my looks, and I always have been because of being mixed race.”

Mischa Barton’s personal demons not only included a DUI arrest, relationship breakups and a hospitalization at a psychiatric ward – the actress also struggled with a fluctuating weight and body image.

“She has big self-esteem issues. … She hates her legs,” says a source close to Barton. “She isn’t comfortable with her body. It’s been a big source of stress and self-hate.”

Speculation about 23-year-old actress’s weight and nasty comments from tabloids and blogs also fueled insecurity. “She had a big problem with those photos of her cellulite. "

Scarlett Johansson confessed that when she was young, she felt insecure about her body, she felt her lips where too big, and she always felt she was too fat. In addition she feels she is too short (1.63meters)

Gwyneth Paltrow claims she never thinks she is thin enough or that her breasts are large enough – "You know the saying, you can never be too rich or too thin."

The assets Pamela Anderson is most famous for, are the one thing she’s most insecure about, “The thing I love most about my body, the thing I hate most are my breasts. I have a love-hate relationship with them.”

One of the world’s most famous beauties, Jessica Biel claims her least favorite part of her body are her legs, “They could be longer or leaner”, Jessica says. I’m sure there are thousands of men who beg to differ.

Eva Longoria would like to be a little bit taller. That is why she always uses high heels

Keira Knightley isn’t too proud of being skinny. She constantly denies allegations of suffering from anorexia. She says she eats a lot, and that she would love to have the curves of Monica Belluci.

Rihanna has confessed that she doesn’t like her legs. She would love to have more skinny legs, and even though she spends hour in the gym it seems she doesn’t get the results she would like!

Uma Thurman feels her eyes and eyebrows look too big. She tries to cover them up with make-up.

Sarah Jessica Parker has stated many times she hates her nose. She thinks it is big and ugly! In any case she has accepted it!

Many men find Beyonce the sexiest woman on earth, however, the only body part she doesn’t like are her ears. She feels they are too big!

Britney Spears

Her nightmare always has been acne (Pimples!)

Kate Hudson has always has hated her Dumbo ears. That is why you will see her 90% of the time with her hair covering her ears

Amy Winehouse
"I’m quite an insecure person. I’m very insecure about the way I look. I mean, I’m a musician I’m not a model. The more insecure I felt, the more I’d drink. And to Tracey Trash, who does my hair, I’d be like, “Bigger! Bigger!” - like the more insecure I feel, the bigger my hair has to be."

Nicole Scherzinger has her own body hang-ups. The Pussycat Doll says she does her best to stay in shape.

"Every woman has insecurities," she says. ‘I feel I have to work on my legs and thighs. But Nicole doesn’t mind indulging in a few treats once in a while. "I love food – sweets, cakes, chocolate, cheese, bread, pasta," she tells Fabulous.

Lily Allen
has been able to maintain her lean figure, but it looks like this singer still has insecurities about her weight. To hear what she said in a recent interview, read more. According to People magazine:

"My mum always told me, 'You're beautiful, you're my beautiful little girl,' and then suddenly I wasn't. I read all the stuff that people were writing about me and I started to get a different view. I mean, I never thought I was a supermodel or anything, but I didn’t think I was quite as unattractive as people were saying! I just thought, ‘Maybe if I'm not fat, then people won't call me ugly.'"
